Finally The Reveal...

This past month I couldn't share what I had been knitting since it would have spoiled the surprise for my Christmas knitting recipients. but now that gifts have been opened, I can finally show you what fun projects I had been working on! Unfortunately, i didn't have the brain to take any good pictures of my knit items before i shipped them off, so all I have are Instagram photos. But i guess they will do...

an Entrelac Cowl for my sister Maegen

this Lichen Cable Scarf for my Daddy

and another one of these Midwinter Pixie Caps for my niece Lily

so there you have it!

With the holidays behind me, I still have another present to knit up- Evelyn's birthday present! Of course my knitted item isn't going to be the only thing she gets, but I like to knit something for my girls every birthday. This year I plan on whipping up the Ballerina Blossom Cardigan from the book Vintage Knits for Modern Babies.

isn't it so stinkin' cute?!
We will be putting Evelyn back into ballet this year. Now that she's a year older, I think she'll have a better time. We tried when she first turned 2, but all she wanted to do was dance by herself in front of the mirror. Which is fine, but she could do that for free at home ;)

p.s. speaking of birthdays, my birthday is tomorrow! the big 22 :)
