at the orchard

There is something so fulfilling about finding the perfect apple or pear tucked into the leaves of a tree.  or watching your children run down an orchard lane, with the sunlight shining on their blonde hair creating a halo like effect. This was my Saturday morning with our dear friends. This was our first time apple picking, so it was awesome to be able to share that experience, and make it that much more wholesome with good company. Little Evelyn and Betty holding hands, all of the kiddos picking way too many apples only to have Casey secretly toss some back toward the trees. I have a feeling this will become a tradition...and I also have a feeling we will be back for pumpkins and more cider.
