What to Wear // Valentine's Day Brunch

1.2.3.4.5.

I hope you like my picks! I'm a sucker for little vintage sequin bags- I have 3 and always look forward to an excuse to use one! The peachy pink dress is both romantic, but not too dressy- perfect for a brunch date. I actually ordered these Lotta from Stockholm shoes last week and am aching to receive them in the mail. The Chloe perfume is such a beautiful scent, I've been using it for 3 years now and no date is complete without a spritz of perfume, right? And the BRAID! I can't braid my hair. It just doesn't work out. Pieces of hair stick out everywhere, and I always drop one of the hair pieces i'm trying to wrap :( But i'm sure everyone else is capable of this simple 'do!

On a side note, I wanted to share the Valentine's Day present my hubby got me! I'm both super stoked and surprised- We usually don't do presents on Valentine's Day, just use the holiday as an excuse to go out to eat, haha. But today after brunch he pulled over to a jewelry store and said, "Let's find you some diamonds, baby" I just started laughing and was like...."good one! Lets head home, mama is full of red velvet pancakes." When I realized he was serious, I was all giggly and excited, trying on earrings till I found these. I just love them!

I hope your V-Day is full of surprises and yummy food too :)

  3. That is the perfect outfit! Its so delicate. I love the colour of the dress and the hairstyle. I wish I weren't such a hair failure so I could do that! This is lovely. I hope you had a wonderful valentine's day!

    1. Thank you! i'm riding the same 'hair failure' boat as you- I can only wear my hair down or in a ponytail. anything else takes way too long and never comes out like it was suppose to! Thanks for stopping by the blog :)

    1. I know! Other than my engagement ring, these earrings are the only piece of 'nice' jewelry I have, so it was a pleasant surprise when he nonchalantly took me to a jeweler :)

    1. Thanks girl! I don't know exactly where it is from, my parents gave it to me on my 16th birthday. It is a Claddagh ring and has sentimental meaning due to my irish heritage :)

    1. I love them! only problem is the wood started to crack- maybe because it is so dry here in Vegas? I need to look into how to care for them...
