This week I have been in between knitting projects as I wait for certain circular needles to arrive in the mail. So unable to keep my hands still, i've taken out a cross-stitching project that I actually started last summer while on vacation at my mother's house. It has been a nice change of pace to pick up the needle and thread. This piece is a more traditional sampler compared to other cross-stitching projects I've seen lately, but I whole heartily appreciate accurate reproductions of older patterns like this 1860 Mexican Garden one. Heirloom quality? I hope so, because boy is it time consuming...
